“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19 NIV). The process of discipleship isn’t just about evangelism, it’s about walking with someone as they grow to live and love like Christ. This Sunday, we had the opportunity to celebrate seven new disciples of Christ who took the step of obedience and testimony of baptism. We rented a local recreational facility and spent the day together as a church family. There was no better way to prepare for our time in the States than to see all seven of these new believers announce their faith, unashamed of their Savior. Each one of these young people have an amazing story to tell of how they became followers of Jesus. We are excited to have the chance to tell their story to you personally. The church in Primero de Mayo has matured and changed so much in the two years we’ve been here. We know that none of that would have happened without your support of this ministry. You have been, and continue to be a key member of the team that makes this ministry happen. We want to thank you, and hopefully see you soon! Please pray for our trip next Monday night, as we will be taking a red-eye flight back to St. Louis, arriving there at 9:00AM on February 2. Pray for the preparations we are making and the transitions that await us. We will be in the USA for 4 months, traveling and visiting as many of you as we can. Also, please pray for the church family we leave behind for these four months. Pray that they will grow in their faith and unity, and that this time apart will be a blessing for them. Pray also for the boys, as they are both excited to go to the States, and sad to leave behind their friends. Your prayers are how we survive on the front lines of the spiritual battle for men’s souls. This week, we got to see many victories.
See you soon,
